- Ensure a Safe Video Environment: Have a parent, guardian, or other approved adult present or visible during any video session with a minor, and record every session through the UYT platform.

Section 5: Tutor Agreement
By applying your electronic signature in Section 9, you agree to the following Tutor Agreement:
Rates & Payments
- UYT pays you 80% of the session fee.
- Payments are issued monthly by direct deposit no later than the end of each month.
- Payment administration is processed through ADP. You will receive an invitation to complete your direct-deposit and applicable tax information.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons as scheduled.
- Complete and submit progress reports.
- Participate in periodic training and feedback calls.
Substitute Tutor Option
Tutors who choose to cover another tutor’s session will receive $5 above their current approved session rate, unless another substitute rate is approved by UYT for that assignment. This creates an incentive for tutors to help cover sessions. For example, if a tutor starts at $45/session, their substitute rate would be $50/session.
Term & Termination
This Tutor Agreement continues until either you or UYT provides 14 days’ notice of termination.
