I founded Utopia Youth Tutoring because I believe every child deserves both academic support and encouragement for their whole selves. As a teacher in Polk County, I saw too many bright kids fall behind simply because their families couldn’t afford quality tutoring. My own journey—and watching my younger brother, a very smart student who lacked emotional support and quickly grew bored, leading to poor choices—showed me how deeply guidance matters. UYT’s mission is simple: connect students with certified teachers who nurture confidence and character while guiding academics. Rooted in our values of honesty, respect, kindness, and empathy, UYT is just the beginning of a larger vision that includes Utopia Youth Center and Utopia Youth Academy. This is more than a business; it’s my calling to create a space where every child can thrive and believe in their future.
